A general introduction of the hospital
Shams Medical Group specialty and subspecialty hospital is one of the biggest and most equipped hospitals of the country and one of the most active hospitals in North and Northwest of country and among the 10 superior hospitals of Ministry of Health that is active in the field of tourism and tourism and medical tourism.
The hospital was founded in 1975 by Dr. Sadaghiany (PBH) and the founder’s delegation including Dr. Saeid Panahi, Dr. Jafar Bonakdarian, Dr. Akbar Maraghachian, Dr. Ahmad Partonia (PHB) and Dr. Hosseini Shojaei Ehya, and it was started to accept patients in 1985.
The hospital was developed very fast and established subspecialty wards such as, cardiac surgery, angiography, cardiology, and medical imaging and in the near future IVF and Dialyze wards will start to work.
The wards of the hospital
The hospital now has following wards: emergency, outpatient oncology, orthopedic ward, Urology, surgery (Otorhinolaryngology, general surgery, neurosurgery, gynecology, plastic surgery), cardiac surgery, general surgery, gynecology, children physiotherapy, infants surgery, CSR and special cares that special sections include ICU, general, thorax, ICU, cardiac surgery, CCU and NICU.
It must be mentioned that all available wards offer services in three sections of women, men and women gynecological diseases.
• Emergency ward
In this ward, specialist and general physician work 7/24. The emergency is equipped with outpatient surgery room and men and women caring rooms.
• VIP rooms
One of the most important specifications of the Shams Medical group Hospital is having private rooms for patients that offer services more than other sections: the services include special beds for companions of the patient, separate rooms for admission of the visitors, separate food menu, TV and Nurse Call system.
Angiography section and cardiac surgery
The angiography section of the hospital as the first angiography and cardiac surgery ward is equipped with SHIMADZU Japan made sets and unique imaging facilities. The ward is directed with the most experienced doctors.
